When My Fingers Touch The Keys.
September 1, 2008Do you all think that it’s good to be soft-hearted?
I don’t.
Being soft-hearted doesn’t make you sweeter a person.
Being soft-hearted doesn’t make you nicer a person.
Being soft-hearted doesn’t make you more thoughtful a person.
Being soft-hearted doesn’t make you save someone from being emotionally hurt.
Being soft-hearted doesn’t make you less cruel.
It’s to norm to be soft-hearted, not speaking and showing the truth, thinking that would save others the trouble of being hurt, physically, and/or emotionally.
The fact is, for as long as you treat someone with soft-heartedness, chances are, you are lying to him, ain’t it? For as long as you lie to him, he will simply climb higher and higher, until the truth hits him and makes him lose his grip, causing him to fall off the mountain from how high you made him climb. The longer your heart remains soft, the higher the hopes of the other goes, and the harder the fall will be.
Being straightforward and down-to-Earth seems harsh, but, it’s undeniably the least hurtful and most thoughtful thing to be, to do. In terms of the long-run, though.
Being soft-hearted is letting stupid climbers climb the impossible and only letting them know that they will fall while their halfway up.
Being straightforward and down-to-Earth is seemingly looking down on stupid climbers and stopping them from climbing that same mountain right from the start, preventing hurt to anyone.
Finally, tears.
I don’t exactly know what to do.
