What’s your life like in the past?
What’s your life like now?
What will your life be like, in the future?

Who did you always hang out with in the past?

What were your favourites(hobbies; food, game, sport, songs, etc.) in the past?

What will your favourites be, in the future?

What time did you usually sleep at in the past?

There’s so much more to think about.

Thank You, but..

September 27, 2008

Spent the night out.
Not exactly out, I was indoor, just not at home.
Came home about 2 hours ago.
Ate, studied a lil, and still studying now.

People you most and least expect to be there for you when you’re in adversity..
..My apologies, though.

Opportunity.

September 25, 2008

“The surprising thing about young fools is how many survive to become old fools.” – Doug Larson

O’s, O’s, O’s.
Like climbing over the Great Wall of China by using only the mind.
Education…

It’s ambivalence. You’re afraid to move on, because you’re afraid if you do, you’d do it when you were actually about to see the opportunity to get what you actually wanted.

Listen.

September 23, 2008

It’s the way we do things that decides who we will be, and what we will get.
It’s NOT the things we do that decides who we will be, and what we will get.

If you rob a bank like a professional, you will be someone with a lot of money.
If you run a business like a professional, you will be someone with a lot of money.
We do things like a professional, to be successful people and get what we want.
We can all do the same thing(robbing a bank), but some end up being rich, and some end up being imprisoned.

Things go my way.

Metaphysics.

September 21, 2008

I’ve been reading up on metaphysics.

“Metaphysics is the branch of philosophy investigating principles of reality transcending those of any particular science.” – Wikipedia

Y’all should. ;I

I completed my examination paper in an hour and a half.
I feel like I’ve to start saving $150 now.
Just came back from supper with Kian Wei and Zhen Hui.
I’m tired and I don’t feel like sleeping and I’m bored.
I’ve this sudden urge to.. Fly? Yeah, fly, but how?!

Like the Law of Attraction,
“Substance takes and holds the form of Thought.
Thinking substance takes the form of its thought, moves according to the thought, and maintains itself in the form of that thought. After all, we cannot make a thing until we have thought that thing.”

Free, easy.

Seek To Replace.

September 19, 2008

School’s super boring today.
Only half the class turned up.
Celebrated Ms Winnie Leong’s birthday.
Slept through almost every lesson.
Did Math with Babu after school.
Came home and slept till about 1900.
Studying right after I’m done with this.

You know, when choices, determinations, promises, commitments, and stuffs like that are made, and is unfair towards you, neglecting your efforts, your perseverance, your abilities, you as a person. That’s when you seek justice by seeking other people and things that don’t do the same.

I Haven’t Been.

September 17, 2008

Woke up at 0645, thought I’d be late for school but wasn’t.
Didn’t get back any results today.
School’s all about going through preliminary papers and revision now.
The upcoming examination’s aura is getting stronger.

KFC after school with Joseph, Dixon and Ming Quan.
Had a long and interesting chat again.
More or less a “what will happen in time to come” conversation.

Like I’ve been a fool.

“You’ve got your phenomenon on one hand. Concrete and knowable. On the other hand you’ve got the incomprehensible. You call it God, but to me, God or no, it remains just that, the unknowable.” – Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess, 1994.

It simply means, we use the three letters “g, o and d” as an excuse whenever we can’t explain someone, something, or a happening.

Seek Reasons.

September 16, 2008

Got back a few papers today, results aren’t very fantastic, but satisfactory, except for some.
Unhappy with prejudiced people man.
It’s 2300 now.
I slept for.. about 5 solid hours since I got home late this afternoon.
Doubt it’s possible, or rather, I don’t plan to sleep later on already.
Have lots of mental work to do.

Just keep climbing, hoping things would change.
If actions have consequences, and I’m responsible for my own actions, then tell me what did I do to deserve the consequences I’m facing.

Crisis Intervention.

September 12, 2008

I scribbled through both my science papers.
Had biology tuition today till about 1300 and headed home.
Forcing myself to head home and do work almost everyday now sucks man, I could be out there having fun, but… Examinations.
I have one less subject to depend on compared to my classmates; mother tongue.
Mother tongue is one subject I would never dare to depend on, unless only tested orally.
With only 6 subjects, and the fact that the passing of a language and 4 other relevant subject is required to enter a polytechnic, means that I have to pass all my other 5 subjects, where passing all other 5 only means admission into a polytechnic. Admission into my desired course requires me to make sure my 5 subjects produce grades good enough.

“Don’t flatter yourself that friendship authorizes you to say disagreeable things to your intimates. The nearer you come into relation with a person, the more necessary do tact and courtesy become. Except in cases of necessity, which are rare, leave your friend to learn unpleasant things from his enemies; they are ready enough to tell them.” – Oliver Wendell Holmes (1809 – 1894)

What makes you think you know more about your friend than your friend’s enemies?
Surely, enemies know something bad about each other, hence becoming enemies, right?
If so, do you know why your friend’s enemy hates him? Do you think you would still be able to accept your friend for who he is, if you were to find out why his enemies can’t accept him?

“I always like to know everything about my new friends, and nothing about my old ones.” -Oscar Wilde (1854 – 1900)

Me too, I don’t know how many of you do, and how dumb you all think this is, but, I research as far as possible on every single person who befriends me. Be it, looking up their friendster & facebook profiles, entering their names, e-mails and phone numbers in search engines, reading their weblogs if they let me know about it, or if I find it myself, and asking around about them. It’s not a pervertic act, it’s not because I’m too free, it’s not because I’m paranoid, it’s because this way, I’ve found out so much about my friends, and more than just my friends. I even dug out stuffs about my friends’ friends, my schoolmates, my neighbours, or rather, strangers. You never know, one day you might enter your friend’s name into a search engine and find it in a hospital’s records of “successful sex reassignment surgery” patients.
Don’t hesitate, just find out all you can about the people around you.
Make use of their enemies. Make use of the internet. Make use of your observation(observe their behaviour and speech, they tell a lot)
It’ll help a lot.

Should never have believed.
