When we see a car, with a loud engine, with bright lights all over it, speed past us.
Chances are, we would say the driver is a reckless gangster, and would die in a car accident in time to come.
What if, that driver rushing to the hospital to see his dying mother who has only ten minutes more to live?
What if, dramatically, there is a bomb on his car that detonates if he drives slower than a certain speed?
When we see a guy carrying his girl’s heavy bag for her, being very thoughtful towards her, always being there for her.
Chances are, we say he is a nice guy, he is caring and thoughtful.
What if, he is like that because he is a jerk, and all his friends left him, so he can’t bear to lose her?
What if, it is just because she gives good sex?
What if, it is just because no other girl wants him?
Some Yahoo! article today speaks about the fact that we ARE ABLE to tell the future. It has to do with our visual perceptions, our vision, our predictions.
The article says we get to see one-tenth of the future before it happens.
That’s true, otherwise how would you be able to catch a ball when it flies to you?
If you completely can’t tell the future, you would never be able to catch any object that’s flying to you, regardless of how slow it could be.
Then again, it’s normal for people to say that we see things with our eyes, before we think, act, and feel, because without seeing something, we won’t even know how it looks like, needless to say, imaginating it in action.
What about the blind people? There’s a reason why blind people don’t get into fights as much as people who are visually abled. The reason is that, they think first, not see, act, or feel.
Think about it, if we SEE then THINK, that means we are thinking based on our first sight, our first impression. If we SEE first, then THINK, that means if we SEE a rich stranger wearing a shirt with holes all over, we THINK of him as a beggar, then ACTING and FEELING as though we are higher in life, than him. Fact is, we are wrong.
If we THINK, then carry out the rest, it’ll be a totally different thing.
