Certificates, are just, back ups.

Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Tiger Woods, blah. The wealthy people. How do they obtain their wealth? I’m sure your parents, your friends, you teachers tell you to study hard. If you don’t, you won’t be able to find a job.
Look at Tiger Woods. He plays golf for a living. Do you think back in school, he studied golf? Do you think that back in school, he studied physics so hard he can calculate every single detail of the movement of the ball that he hits with his golf club? If he studied hard in school, he would have done so for nothing. Imagine taking business studies, and excelling in it only to find out that 10years later, your career would have nothing to do with it. Won’t you get pissed off that you wasted your time studying, you wasted your parents’ money on your school fees?

You see, getting paper qualifications is just like creating backup plans for your life, JUST INCASE YOU FAIL. You only get a salaried job when you fail. You are supposed to only turn to your certificates for help, when you can’t earn a living all by yourself.
Some might say, “I want to be an architect, and I am studying architecture, if in future I use my architectural certificates to get me a job, are you saying that I’m a failure?”
No, if that’s according to your life’s plan. But good luck earning based on projects done/accepted, and a basic monthly salary. Congratulations, you now have a good pay.
But your pay is nothing, and I mean, NOTHING, compared to people earning millions a year. Some can make millions a MONTH.
Then again, Tiger Woods. He doesn’t need to worry about having enough competitions to participate in. When there isn’t any big worldwide competition, there are those small interclub competitions. For each he wins, or at least be in the top 3 golfers, he is paid or rewarded. He has been playing golf for so long, and has so much experience that it’s kinda hard for him to lose. I play cyber games, and winning WCG alone can earn you about $2K(only in your country, I haven’t included how much you get when you win it worldwide). WCG happens annually, but there’s CPL, CAL and so on. In the western countries, GAMERS ARE PAID QUITE ALOT. I forgot the exact amount of money, BUT THEY DRAW AT LEAST TWICE AS MUCH AS MY PARENTS(both of their salaries added together) DO EVERY MONTH. They play games for a living. Tiger Woods enjoys while earning money. Golf is an international sport. Winning a golf competition can easily earn a golfer many times more than $2K. I’m not asking you people to play golf.

Just know that, if you wanna make it big, you wanna strike it rich and wealthy, studying hard is not the best solution. Infact, it’s not a good solution. It’s only a backup, incase you screw up somewhere, somehow and is unable to achieve your desired career. That’s when you turn to your paper qualifications for a fixed salary job, in which if it’s nothing to do with your desired career, you should resign after earning enough money and confidence to dive into your desired career.
